Fall Semester 2025
The Luther College Book Shop and our official partner, eCampus are excited to offer affordable textbook options and pricing! This is one avenue to purchase books.
Read before ordering:
- Anticipate your book needs and be mindful of the shipping time. Allowing extra time is a best practice.
- Order your course materials from luther.ecampus.com. Lab manuals, course readers, goggles, scientific notebooks, calculators, and few other supplies will be available in the Book Shop. All other course materials/textbooks will not be stocked in the store.
For questions regarding your order, contact e-Campus at bookstore@ecampus.com or use the Chat function found on the Dashboard page (under Contact Us).
Purchase now at luther.ecampus.com. Login/Sign up (upper right corner), "Sign In Via Your School Account."

Terms:
- Rental: you are paying a rental fee and using the book for the semester. Similar to a library book, the rental needs to be returned at the end of the semester. Some writing and highlighting are acceptable. Like all books, no water damage is allowed. Even if not paying with a credit card, credit card information is required and stored electronically in the case the rental is not returned.
- Inclusive Access: a grouping of components (digital text, homework, quizzes, etc.) that are a cost savings when bundled together. All are delivered by the first day of class and are found on Katie. There is a course fee that will be automatically charged to the student's account the 2nd week of class. All students are initially Opted In but do have the option to Opt Out. If you decide to Opt Out, you will be responsible to acquire the individual components required for class. To opt out, email iasupport@ecampus.com.
- Open Educational Resources (OER): free teaching, learning and research materials
If you need to make a return, initiate the refund through your eCampus account. Return period for purchases:
- 7-week courses, ten days from the first day of class or shipping date, whichever is longest
- Spring and Fall semesters, thirty days (yes, 30 days!) from the first day of class or shipping date, whichever is longest
- January term, 10 days from the first day of class or shipping date, whichever is longest
How to make a Rental Return to eCampus:
- Go to luther.ecampus.com and log in with your Luther credentials
- On the horizontal toolbar, select Manage My Rentals/Returns
- Select Return My Rentals for Free
- Select all rentals you wish to return
- Once you finish processing the return you will receive a packing slip and label
- Put the rentals in a box with the packing slip, attach the label to the outside of the box
- Ship via the carrier that is listed on the label
- For questions regarding your rentals or returning rentals, contact e-Campus at bookstore@ecampus.com or use the Chat function found on the Dashboard page (under Contact Us)
Everyday buyback is available through your eCampus account. End-of-term buybacks will occur finals week in December and May.
Why doesn't the Book Shop carry textbooks? We want you to be successful and to purchase all the course materials needed. The Book Shop, like many small businesses, found itself in a situation in which we could no longer offer competitively priced textbooks. We are proud to have partnered with eCampus!
The Book Shop is owned and operated by Luther College and all proceeds stay on campus to support our Luther community.
