The story of Decorah resident Robert Hunt's
experiences as a Torpedo man during WWII on the submarine USS Tambor are
told in this book. Included are eyewitness accounts of tracking Japanese
cruisers during the Battle of Midway, surviving a near-fatal 17-hour depth-
charge attack, and seeing Japanese bombs fall on Wake Island.
