Associate professor of religion, Robert Shedinger signed copies of his new book, "Was Jesus a Muslim," published in March 2009 by Augsburg Fortress as part of its Questioning Categories in the Study of Religion series.

Shedinger's "Was Jesus a Muslim" raises the question "Do Muslims understand Jesus in some ways more historically appropriate than Christians Do?"  This question leads Shedinger into a series of challenges to the disciplines of religious studies and comparative religions.
