Online textbook ordering from this website, for fall 2017 term is now open through Monday, August 28 at 3:00 p.m.
By ordering from the Luther website:
* You can be certain you are purchasing the correct books for your classes
* You are the first to rent and/or purchase textbooks, especially used titles, saving you $$.
* It is fast and convenient. Your books will be packed and ready for you to pick up when you arrive at Luther.
Textbooks are available to purchase IN the Book Shop beginning Wednesday, August 16.

Textbook orders may be picked up in the Mott/Borlaug rooms during the following times:
Saturday, Aug. 19 from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Mon. - Wed., Aug. 21 - 23 from 8:15 a.m. - 4:45 p.m.
Thur. & Fri., Aug. 24 & 25 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Sat. Aug. 26 from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Sun. Aug. 27 from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Mon. - Wed., Aug. 28 - 30 from 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

If you still need to order the required summer reading book for Paideia, "There Was and There Was Not," it is available to purchase in the Book Shop or from this website. For your shopping convenience and for ROAD registrants, the Book Shop will have extended hours. Simply stop in the store during these times to purchase your books:
Friday, August 25 from 8:45 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, August 26 from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Sunday, August 27 from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.


IMPERATIVE: Both the "bill to" and "ship to" addresses must be in the student's name, NOT the parent's name, no matter what credit/debit card is being used. Your first and last name must be used. If you already have an account, double check this information and make any changes. Login and go to My Account. If you are placing your first order on our site, you must create a new account. You may choose your own password.
-A credit/debit card is the only payment option for online ordering.
-Your correct email address is imperative. All correspondences are via email. If we email you, it is regarding an important issue with your order that needs a response from you before we are able to process your order. To prevent delays, please watch and respond to any emails.
-Within two hours of ordering, you will receive an order confirmation. Watch for this email and review your order.

-First year Paideia students - To order Paideia books go to PAIDEIA, 111D, 00ALL STAFF. There are six required books. You will also be assigned a section book at a later date. If you still need to order a copy of the summer reading book, There Was and There Was Not, please state this in the comment field of your order. We will then add that book to your order.

-If you see the message, "to be determined," the book is currently not available. Please try later or stop by the Book Shop once you arrive on campus.
-Some courses have important information regarding textbook selections listed. Please read any notes, carefully.
-To be certain you have all books needed for your classes, we strongly urge you to purchase all titles at the beginning of the semester. The Book Shop begins returning books to the publishers one month after classes begin.
-RENTAL TITLES: Rental books are non-refundable, unless you drop the course. If you rent and then choose to purchase the rental book, you pay only the difference between the rental and purchase price if done by Tuesday, September 26. You must bring the rental book and original receipt with you to the Book Shop.
-When checking out, select "pick up in store" as the shipping method. Textbook orders will not be shipped.

Now you're ready to order your books! There are two options for purchasing books:
1) Comparison site (You may purchase from both the Book Shop and other online vendors)
2) Shop from the Book Shop site - no extra shipping and handling charges.

Please note that because textbook information can change at any time (faculty changes, publisher upgrades, cancelled classes, etc.) we are not responsible for information from this site for the purchase of textbooks from other sources. Students purchasing course materials from the Luther Book Shop site are protected under the store's return policies. If your course book is not listed, the textbooks are yet to be determined.
